Wipeout opened at Pleasurewood Hills in 2007 and at a cost of approximately £1.5 million, it was the single most expensive acquisition in the history of the park. The coaster was relocated from the now closed American Adventure park.

Wipeout reaches a top speed of 47 miles per hour and features three inversions. The ride begins by winching guests to the top of the first lift hill before hurtling down through a cobra roll and loop.

Then, after a few seconds, the train reaches the top of the second lift hill before doing everything again… This time, it’s all in reverse!
